Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst

Since 1996, the Migros Museum of Contemporary Art has stood for exhibiting, collecting, and mediating international contemporary art. Over two floors, it presents single and group exhibitions and works from its own collection. The internationally renowned museum sees itself as a dynamic and vibrant place for presenting contemporary art. This includes its extensive mediation and support programmes. Website

LUMA Westbau

The LUMA foundation was established in 2004 in Switzerland to promote the activities of independent artists, pioneers and institutions who work in the fields of art and photography, journalism, documentary films and multimedia. In particular, the foundation is devoted to ambitious artistic projects with a special interest in issues affecting the environment, human rights, education and culture. The LUMA foundation’s exhibition rooms are in LUMA Westbau, part of the Löwenbräu-Kunstareal in Zurich. LUMA Westbau opened in 2013 and mostly presents international projects, exhibitions and events produced by the LUMA foundation. Website

Kunsthalle Zürich

Founded in 1985 as a club, Kunsthalle Zürich has firmly established itself as one of the big names in Zurich’s cultural landscape, a place for exhibitions, events, functions and publications with a national and international reach mit lokaler, nationaler und internationaler Ausstrahlung. Its main focus is on exchange and dialogue with contemporary art and with visitors. Hence, Kunsthalle Zürich is considered a meeting place for different people: for students, children, artists and residents of the neighbourhood in Zürichh -West.
